Paytm offers a varied range of jobs which includes candidates with minimal qualification like 10th,12th graduate to the highest level candidates having an MBA,MS, M-tech degree from the most reputed universities/ institutions. In this article I will be covering the range of job roles one can apply in Paytm and the qualities that one needs to have to get into that position easily.

1.       Calling, Customer Services, Voice support candidate, a candidate with service skills

One must possess qualities like knowledge retention capability so as to provide the highest quality support to customers. They should know all the in and out about the product and should be able to learn and memorize a good amount of information about the company’s products and services within a stipulated period of time. In the time of demonetisation Paytm had done its marketing very aggressive and enabled the general stores to turn digital by using Paytm QRcode and use digital transactions. This is also a complete field work/Fleet on street. It includes acquisition of merchants/Channel Partners with a monthly/Daily Target. The candidate must have to collect relevant documents from the Retailers & Channel Partners; Adhere to KYC process, provide proper training to the merchant with Paytm App & its usage. The candidate must also be persuasive enough to ensure usage of Merchandising items/QR codes & Stickers at the outlets. Along with this they should capture Customer/Channel/Merchant feedback and feed forward to team leader to improve product offering in the market. Mostly the candidate is allocated the area near their residential address since the candidate will be more aware of the new merchants and retailers near that area.

 

8.       Talent acquisition specialist:

The candidate will be responsible for Sales hiring which includes sourcing, evaluating and closing candidates for entire allocated region. They will be responsible in building relationship with Sales talent in the ecosystem. They will have to source passive candidates through networking, direct sourcing and effectively utilize resume database, applicant tracking and reporting systems. They should also have an experience of handling large number of hiring requirements and unexpected hike in demand for hiring. They should share and exchange information with all levels of management regarding monthly, weekly dashboards. They should possess high level of comfort in cold calling and head hunting and must have the ability to manage multiple hiring requirements at a similar time. For a sales manager a candidate must be experienced and responsible for sustaining and growing the city's revenues with P&L responsibilities. They should lead the Sales team in initiating new accounts and managing relationships with existing ones, thereby ensuring a healthy mix of partners. Laying down the roadmap for new account acquisition for the city and ensuring its execution is a must. Managing the administration function and operational performance , with the responsibility of streamlining processes and systems wherever possible and manage the City team from hiring and training new recruits to assigning targets and formulating incentive plans as well as career planning for each member.
